Classical computer vision algorithm. Scans the camera frame and detects if a face exists. Very fast — runs every 2.5 seconds.
VGGNet architecture trained on 2.6M images of 2,622 identities. Converts a face into a unique 4096-dimensional embedding vector — a mathematical fingerprint.
Compares two 4096-d face embeddings using cosine similarity formula. Score 0.0–1.0. Threshold 0.60 for kiosk, 0.75 for personal kiosk. Above threshold → identity confirmed.

When an employee exhausts all paid leaves, AttendPro automatically handles Loss of Pay deduction in the monthly payslip.
Employee has used all 12 Sick Leave days. System shows EXHAUSTED and disables that option in the dropdown.
Employee selects Loss of Pay (365 days/yr). Admin approves. The absent days are tracked separately as LOP days.
